ThE UPCOMING BOOK ON THE ART & SCIENCE OF VENTURE CAPITAL DEALS IN GERMANY [in GermAN]

We are currently busy finishing our first book:

DEALTERMS.VC: Von Kunst, Handwerk und Philosophie der Venture-Capital-Finanzierung
schnellwachsender Unternehmen in Deutschland

Scheduled to be released in the second half of 2017

DEALTERMS.VC is based on a series of interviews we conducted during 2016 and 2017 with some of the most respected serial entrepreneurs and venture capital fund managers in Germany and aims at distilling the essence of a good venture deal.

The book (roughly 300 pages) will cover all aspects of a typical Series-A funding round and features (for the first time ever) a complete set of contractual documents that are explained in detail. Our motivation is to create a standard reference for Germany remotely similar to what Brad Feld and Jason Mendelson achieved with their book Venture Deals for the US market.

All profits from the book and e-book will be donated towards an entrepreneurship related good cause.

If you want to be the first to know once DEALTERMS.VC is released and have a chance to win one of 20 of the first copies, please subscribe to our newsletter below.

There are still founders that believe investors have a fundamental interest in somehow removing people from the company, to get rid of a founder, under the erroneous assumption they can then swallow up his shares through vesting. This is complete bullshit. You have to get this out of your mind.
